I have been making pottery for about 40 years, working in production pottery and adult education. Most of my work starts on the wheel, is semi-sculptural, and is influenced by the unique atmosphere of the fenland landscape. I often add locally dug clays to my glazes, creating a physical link with the fens. I aim to reflect the subtle qualities and colours of the local environment.

For After the Fall, I have taken the starting points of collapsing and rebuilt towers to build a variety of sculptural ceramic forms. They are a combination of reduced stoneware and raku fired ceramic.
